The American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) is the largest national organization representing the professional interests of more than 150,000 dental hygienists across the United States. Dental hygienists are preventive oral health professionals, licensed in dental hygiene, who provide educational, clinical and therapeutic services that support total health through the promotion of optimal oral health. American Dental Hygienists’ Association Institute for Oral Health
The mission of the ADHA Institute for Oral Health is to advance the profession of dental hygiene through scholarships, research and service in collaboration with the American Dental Hygienists' Association.

National Dental Hygiene Month (NDHM)
Through the NDHM program, ADHA continues to stress increasing the public’s awareness about the importance of preventive services in maintaining good oral hygiene and to encourage others to develop and continue with a daily oral health routine.

Oral Health America’s Wisdom Tooth Project / OHA + ADHA Member Center
ADHA members are contributing content for OHA’s national Wisdom Tooth Project to connect older adults and their care advisors with information about oral health complications related to aging.
